The Sunnyside Community Redevelopment Organization (SCRO) is a Houston-based environmental justice organization that works to protect the health and well-being of the Sunnyside neighborhood. Sunnyside is a largely Black and Hispanic neighborhood that has been historically overburdened by environmental pollution. The SCRO works to address these issues through advocacy, education, and community organizing.
